Has any of the liberated among us had any follow-up MRIs? I would be interested to know if there has been a decrease in lesions and other anamolies in the brain.

Is this something that could be added to the Tracking Project thread?

I believe that we could counter a lot of the "placebo effect" rhetoric when we have this sort of hard evidence.

I have my last two MRIs in hand and am more than eager to compare with a post-liberation MRI...as soon as I can get liberated, that is!

BooBear I do not wish to disappoint you but an MRI will not prove that CCSVI is working for you. Research on MRIs indicates that it can be a guide to MS progression not a definitive answer. Some people have few lesions but are severely disabled, other pwMS have many lesions and low disability.
The check up I would recommend after CCSVI therapy is a doppler ultrasound to check that blood flow is still good.

I don't disagree with your comments on the number of lesions vs level of disability, Mark. However, if someone has X number of lesions pre-CCSVI and Y number of lesions afterwards, that may be significant.

In all drug trials, the reduction in new and/or existing lesions is often touted as improvement. If we can show that treatment of CCSVI can demonstrate lesion improvement as well as the cognitive and impairment improvements already reported, it may help advance the cause.
