Hello all. I have been lurking and learning, checking in every day, but not posting. I have a question and this seems the best place to get answers!

A fellow Canadian MSer sent me this today:

http://janmills.net/health-coach/multiple-sclerosis/

I have not heard of Sanoviv and could not find anything when I did a search on TIMS. Anybody have any info to share?

Thanks

Is this place in Mexico?

Does she ask for people to use a referral "code" if they book at Sanoviv because she gets a referral fee for people who go there, I wonder?

I'm curious as well Kathy.
I heard Jan Mills on CBC this morning.

Part of me sees this almost like a sales pitch to get people to go to Mexico.

Worth keeping an eye on though.

Also heard this lady on CBC this a.m. Like us, she is from Kelowna BC and her web site - www.janmills.net - suggests she is a health coach / spokesperson for holistic / homeopathic therapies. There is a link on that site to www.sanoviv.com the Centre's site - again it appears to be a spa / holostic / homeopathic treatment centre.
From the 2 web pages, Jan Mills appears to have been relieved of R+R symptoms thanks to CCSVI treatment at Sanoviv, which looks like a very nice place (Rosarita, Baja California, Mexico on the Pacific Coast where all private rooms are ocean front !!).
E-Mailed Jan Mills to get info and she says they are setting up CCSVI treatment facilities and establishing a waiting list - you don't have to take all the rest of the "stuff" they offer or sign up for anything else.
Phone # is 1-800-sanoviv: phoned and they took our name, phone number and e-mail, and yes they did take Jan Mills' name as referral (possible fee as you say eric), and they advised that they will be calling back to provide more details and info and get more of our info within the next 2 months. No info yet on fees.
Don't know how this will pan out, but the Centre is located south of South Diego, so a quick flight down the West Coast for us, and we'll now wait and see what happens.

rip off

For years I have heard of this place being a rip off from desperate people seeking alternative treatments. There is no way I would let them touch my body. They advertise stem cells, vitamins, etc.

Having MS I have learned that reading testimonials about treatments and not the science behind it is a waste of good money and time.

These people prey on people with chronic diseases. A vacation to Aruba or Costa Rica would be more therapeutic for me.

FYI
I have been to Sanoviv twice to treat MS. Wonderful place! They sent me an email that they now offer CCSVI testing and procedure- but I don't know of their experience or protocols used.

PS they are great but expensive
