Hi all,

I’m upset to report that my polish friends mum who had balloon angioplasty for the 2nd time nearly a month ago has had some very bad worsening symptoms :(

From what I understand she now has extreme stiffness and weakness which is making walking impossible before she could walk with support (I’d say she had EDSS 0f 5.5-6.0)

Last operation she had just a balloon which caused the vein to widen to much to insert a stent,
I am very worried about what sadly happened to rici might of happened to her and could happen to someone else,

As I understand she is to scared to go back for more treatment now

Has anyone had a similar problem apart from rici where the vein has become to wide to place a stent ?

Any thoughts on this ?

Oh, sunlounger, I'm so sorry to hear that...really...but maybe the reasons are related to something else...I would try to best ask for further advice...

..really hope she will get better...

maybe theres not a problem with that vein,it needs Dr Simka to check.

this treatment is not straight foward

Certainly a doppler control to check restenosis cannot harm...but could also be otherwise MS related...its a complex thing as you say rightly - but who knows she might also get better again, there can be ups and downs

Hi
Dr. Schelling said that I will not last, unfortunately. With the removal of deformities in the veins jugular vein, is very important to compensate for the blood pressure in the veins of the Interior. This can only occur when the regeneration of venous valves. That is why it is so important.
