difference in trials

someone explain to me why a drug trial is cut short due to "overwhelming success."...thus the placebo group was given the drug also... apparently this happened years ago with one of the DMD's ....have we not seen quite a bit of success with the CCSVI treatment?.....it seems to me that it is a lot harder to gauge a drug that is supposed to reduce relapse rates than the immediate results we are seeing with the liberation treatment. Now it doesn't seem to matter that these successful drugs aren't so great after all.....they are still the chosen route to go....placebo effects also pertain to drugs, apparently.

Somehow I think the rules will be different for drugs, and rules will be all that is important. Liberation declared an overwhelming success?

I am all saturated with whelm.

I can't accomodate any more whelm.

Sorry, ran out of headroom for any more whelming.

I couldn't be any more whelmed if...

...if ever you needed, let's say if you were looking for a word...

...if there was an unmanageable *pressure* from both your peer group, and the press...

...from all quarters, really, to describe my current condition...

..."whelmed" would spring to your lips.

...more whelming? Oh, God. Whelmed?

...Now what were we talking about?

please read correctlly...I said the drug trials were deemed an "overwhelming" success...read the reports.....the liberation treatment has had quite a bit of success...can't deny that fact...
