Thank you for the line drawing -- I hadn't seen that image before. Your scans are fascinating! I am amazed you wore your glasses, but then again, why not? I hope you got a chance to watch as they threaded the catheter. I'm going July 7th and hope they'll give me the same souvenirs!

Be sure to ask them for the images before you leave Poland!

In the USA most radiologists use the .dicom file extension software for images. I needed to find and download a shareware program to open them up. The .dicom images were converted to standard .jpg file extensions; reduced images in size (for quicker downloading) and then uploaded to my hosting site.

Thought other MSer's would like to "see" what the veins look like; and what the inflated balloon looks like.

How are you feeling after? I just recently had mrv that showed stenosis up high and flattened/elliptical/twisted with collaterial veins..

While my internal jugular veins remained opened post-op, I was making dramatic improvements in my symptoms (per Dr. Zamboni's criteria, I would be classified SP MS). Unfortunately, these veins narrowed again 6 days after the procedure. I will have to re-do it again.

Cool pictures. And congrats on having the procedure done, even if it did end up reclosing, at least you know the problem!! good luck in the future.
