Yes they are but folks with no headache issues will usually get a headache from the drugs and other stuff they are shooting in your veins.

Dr. S will liberate anyone, doesn't matter if you are from the us or Poland. He just did a person from Poland the other day.

It's ironic and sad that a Polish person comes to the US to get treated. Meanwhile US citizens who can't even get treated here are on a year-long wait list in Poland. The world is off its rocker.

It is interesting for sure!

Do you know who the doctor in training was? I never heard back from Dr. Siskin himself, but received a call from another IR from that clinic.

He was training one of his female partners, not sure on the name. There is also another male partner at his clinic that does the procedure.

Then I must have spoken to his partner.

Can you provide any more details? Staff? Clinic? Accommodations? Follow-up plan?

Thank you for your help.

Blain,

Great reports. I really like Dr. Siskin's attitude. Reminds me of Dr. Sclafani, my CCSVI doctor. Perhaps it's not a coincidence that Siskin was a resident under Sclafani.

Blaine,

Thanks so much for the updates, very much appreciated. Especially the reference about calling back everyone prior to the 18th. I called around the 25th, received the first call back but nothing since. Still haven't received a call back and was getting nervous. So patience patients is the right attitude, even though I don't like it.

My insurance will pay 90% of the procedure. But since I have already hit my out of pocket max, they should be paying 100%. (I hit my max in March!) At least when I precertified they approved it.

Dr. Siskin and his staff

One of the most important things I forgot to mention is;
Dr. S is a wonderful man, compassionate about his work. He was willing to take many minutes before and after the procedure to answer our questions. Over the past month he has responded to every email I have sent him, usually within 12 hours. I just can't say enough about him.

I will also add that everyone on his staff that I have been in contact with has been wonderful.

Hello everyone
I am now back home in Minnesota.
I have enjoyed sharing my experience with all of you. Since CCSVI is so new, I believe it is very important to share your stories. It will only help get the word out and speed things up. I know by sharing my story, people have learned things and shared new things with others.

I also had an email distribution list that I shared my story with. I know by doing that, at least 3 people with MS now know of CCSVI that hadn't heard of it before. I'm also sure my emails got forewarded to many people, some of them not knowing anything about CCSVI. So please share your stories.

For those of you that have been liberated only to have your problems reappear, stay strong and positive. Bit by bit things are getting resolved. There is a great movie based on a true story that is very similar to the roads you have traveled. It is called "Awakenings" starring Robin Williams. I highly recommend it. Those of you that have restenosed, will be part of the sequal to this movie. Your new movie will have a great ending. Please watch "Awakenings" so you are ready for the sequal.

Thanks for all the support everyone has given me. If it wasn't for this forum, I might be one of those that hadn't heard of CCSVI. Good luck to all of you in line to be liberated.

In a nutshell, I had a plumbing problem (4 to be exact) that got fixed. It will be at least 1 - 6 months before I update my condition. My daily updates are now complete.
Feel free to PM me with any questions.
With Love, Blaine
