Is there any word on when Dr. Sandy Macdonald will be able to treat MS patients?

He has a small treatment trial beginning in November. I mentioned it in the John Robinson thread, but I don't really know any more than that.

Yes TRose he has apparently been approved. A woman emailed yesterday
of her acceptance in the trial. Thankyou Dr McDonald. This is exactly
what we need and alot more.

And by the way. The Canadian gov't has not approved or blocked
this. It is the society telling the Ministry of Health of Ontario
that ms patients should not have any angioplasty because it
is too experimental and not proven to be related to ms.

Well they don't own my kidneys, bones or heart and they
certainly don't own my veins and arteries.

And the MS Society is essentially run by neurologists, too. I, for one, don't believe in the entire concept of MS,CCSVI, yes, that I believe in.

The Minister of Health in Manitoba is a former
English teacher, high school. Now how is she qualified to be a Minister of Health? It's a bloody joke, I spit on this entire country.

I saw on Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre CCSVI following article.
CCSVI recognised as an independent vascular condition by Italien health
authorities.
That's the way it has to go. How do we get this into the brains of our authorities.

That's fabulous news. I have an appointment with Dr. McDonald's technician for a Doppler ultrasound. I will see what I can find out then and post it here.

I spoke with Angie, Dr. McDonald's technologist and with Dr. McDonald when I had my Doppler at Barrie Vascular Imaging on Tuesday. They advised they do not yet have a definite timeline for beginning their study. They are continuing to work towards approval.

Angie is amazing. She's dynamic, caring, passionate, knowledgeable and open. She was the only technologist in North America trained by Dr. Zamboni. At Zamboni's request, Angie recently helped train more technologists, including two more of Dr. McDonald's staff.

Obstruct their jugulars! (sorry, couldn't help myself on that one).

Hi all,

How would I contact Dr. Mc.? I would like to have my followup exams done here instead of having to fly to Poland.
