Is there anyone who has been liberated that only had a problems with valves or flaps -- but no stenosis or blockage?

If so, what were your symptoms? And did the procedure help? If so, how much?

Hi Rosegirl,
I too am interested in your query, tho' I'm afraid I can't directly help.
I was diagnosed, following a doppler scan, with a flapping valve, just kind of quivering, in my left jug, causing reflux, but no apparent narrowing or stenosis. I appreciate that venography may reveal more, but I too am keen to hear of any similar stories and what may be done! There must be more out there with flappy valve issues?!...
I have emailed a Vascular surgeon in the UK and Dr Simka for feedback.
My current symptoms, post-relapse, are visual, sensory and fatigue.
Fingers crossed!

I had no reflux or narrowing from the jugular veins. Just inflammation of the right jugular and a bad working valve because of this. radiologist thinks balooning is not necessary, but the doctor has too look at this problem. I also have narrowing of the vertibrale vein, that goes through the spinal cord, therefor to risky to delitate.
Bacause of this narrowing i have varicose veins in the back of my head( cerebellum).
My symptoms: fatique, always cold/very cold hand/feet, dizzyness, trouble walking because my right leg feels heavy and i can't lift this leg, less strength in my right arm, heat intolerance.
Belgiun doctor did second opinion, and said the same. Dr Simka will look at this problem. I have ppms, EDSS: 6.5
