Heartfelt tears of joy for all the positive reinforcement and prayers! As all parents will understand, I felt more devastated with my daughter's dx than I did my own. Now I feel HOPE and am blessed that my mom is giving me an early inheritance so that I can afford this procedure for my self and daughter. On Weds. we all travel to Albany - my mom (from TX), myself and my oldest daughter (from MI) and my youngest daughter (from Chicago) - we are 4 strong-willed women and a force to be reckoned with

Add my prayers and good thoughts for you and your daughter, newlywed4ever. Strong-willed women rule!

newlywed4ever - I hope you & your daughter have great results and will be the last in your family that have to go through this. Just think if we could have had our blood flow checked and fixed early on and had never had to learn about MS!

Does anyone know about "the list" and how quickly Dr. Siskin's group is moving through it? My call back was June 22, and I haven't had a call from a doctor yet (6 weeks now). I'm so afraid I won't be by the phone or won't get the call because my cell reception is so bad.

BooBear, We will have to compare notes. I am getting the procedure in Baltimore on August 17th in Baltimore ! Not too long after you are liberated. It seems like the IRs are picking up some steam and are working on more and more of us in the USA. I am hoping for the very best for you (and me). We can both be anxious together, LOL.

Thank you all - we have experienced hope, anger, knowledge and LOVE in our quest for healing - as always, love is the most powerful and I smile to think of all the friends here and on fb I haven't yet met. Prayers for ALL of us!

Thanks to everyone for all your heartfelt best wishes and prayers. To my fellow about-to-be-Liberated, please know that I only hope for the very best for all of us!

It is coming up very soon...the butterflies in my stomach have turned into bats! But I am hanging in there, hoping that this really is my chance.

Had a MRI last Friday- two new lesions (again, no relapses since my last MRI in February, which showed two other new lesions without a relapse). I think this evil bastard of a disease won't give up easily, but I am giving my body the best chance to fight it with this procedure.

High hopes for all!
