Just Liberated!

I had 3 blockages...the right, left and azygos. Previous ultrasound did not reflect the angioplasty today. The ultrasound showed no stenosis in the left jugular and today the stenosis in the left jugular was more severe than the right. The doctor said that the ultrasound shows that there is a problem and it isn't always correct for the stenosis. My balance seems better and I have a good level of energy right now. Hopefully, more improvements in the future .The doctor and staff are great and I'm extremely grateful for their commitment and dedication to help all of us.

Congrats!!

With all three having been blocked, I would think that would make a big difference!

Shea,

Thanks for updating us.

Interesting how ultrasound showed no stenosis in the
left jugular and three blockages no less!

Really hope big improvements are coming your way.

Shea,

I hope everything is going well. It's been about a week since your proceedure so I hope you are seeing some improvements. Don't get discouraged if the improvments seem slow. Some people continue to improve for a number of months.

Hi Bruce:

It's been exactly one week since my treatment and I have noticed 2 improvements...balance and ability to walk up the stairs in an upright position! MS fatigue has been consistent for the past 2-3 days and the procedure and travel could be factors. I'm optimistic that improvements will continue and hope to start some pt in the future. Presently, the MS fatigue is delaying any type of re-hab. Did you get your call with a treatment date ?
Good luck to you and your wife.

That's great news! Better balance and improved ability on the stairs is significent. My wife has progressive MS so any reversal would be a miracle . We certainly can't expect drugs to provide any noticable help.

We don't have an appointment yet. We called on May 26. Others who called on May 28 already have their appointments in late October so we must be at the top of the list??? Hopefully we'll hear something soon.

Take care and don't let the fatigue get you down. I'm sure it will get better with time.

Bruce.
