one group to blame is the patients themselves. Animal models might not work unless the animal is upright. The only data out there is the 2 or 3 thousand people who have had the operation. Did it work? Do we have good collections of the results?

Who the hell cares what other disease or non-disease it is linked to, CCSVI is bad enough by its own self, and should be treated based upon the merit of the argument that humans have internal jugular veins and azygous veins for very good reasons. Blocks in major veins or valves in them are a major problem. But in this disposable world, well veins carry your body's recycling, and reuse is not important to some. Unless you are talking about creating a permanent market for drugs.

Damn right. That's what we vote with. Except some have canes, walkers, wheelchairs, scooters. They know the way too.

We need to turn this around. The medical and government "experts" and the MS Society insist there is no evidence angioplasty is an effective treatment for MS and question is there is even a link between MS and CCSVI.

If we accept that, there is no need for trials or further studies. Let our family docs refer us to vascular specialists to be treated for a vascular problem. Isn't that what we have saying all along?!?
