Despite the announcement yesterday by Canadian Institutes Health Research, Saskatchewan is moving forward with plans to fund CCSVI trials.

Saskatchewan Health Minister Don McMorris says "It's interesting when they say there isn't enough evidence to move forward with it. That's the very reason we want to continue to look at it." McMorris also hopes Saskatchewan researchers won't shy away from such work because of the CIHR decision. (Hopefully Dr. Knox WON'T be one of the researchers!).

Let's hope McMorris and Premier Brad Wall can continue to influence other provinces.

Thank you Saskatchewan! The birthplace of Canadian universal health care is our one shining light.
