I am a skeptic. I want to see the results of well designed double blinded studies before I am really convinced of CCSVI. I also think many people are getting too hysterical and too political and do too much name calling without enough basis. I am in favor of promoting the CCSVI hypothesis so it has a chance. But I am not in favor of all the mob mentality surrounding this issue. It makes me extremely uncomfortable, especially when I saw a Facebook post where someone was berating my own neurologist because he led clinical trials of Gilenya.

mob mentality ? Sort of like that '' mob '' that advised the Canadian Health Minister against conducting CCSVI Trials .

Not ONE person was allowed to testify to the validity of CCSVI.

Not ONE person qualified and experienced in CCSVI intervention ...... was allowed to present evidence in favor .

THAT is a mob mentality.

And the leader of this pack ..... played a significant role in the death of a desperate for- a - cure MS patient ......in his unproven high risk MS treatment.

So tell me ........ how was this high risk MS treatment ...... given the green light by the Canadian Health Minister ..... WITHOUT .......previous PROOF that it worked ? Where were the double blind studies of that ?

I am appalled at the double standard .

Imagine . The Health Minister of Canada is wringing her hands together ...with beads of sweat on her forehead ..... as her ''experts '' advise her of the horrid consequences of angioplasty ......and she is swallowing the bunk ..... hook-line and sinker ........

Is the Health Minister not aware that one of her prime MS "experts '' had one patient DIE as a result of his failed MS treatment .

This same guy has been disrespectful towards Dr. Zamboni . pwMS being under his care ...... have reported being dealt with disrespectfully also.

He needs to be removed ASAP as a MSS ..... consultant / advisor.
