NICE (UK) monitoring CCSVI treatment

Balloon angioplasty with or without stenting for chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency (CCSVI) in MS

NICE has been notified about this procedure and has considered it as part of the Institute’s work programme. The procedure is being monitored as we are awaiting use in the NHS.

The procedure will be reconsidered at regular intervals to determine whether this has been resolved.

Thankyou a fantastic find xx

They do seem to be on the ball some months ago they did send the pharmo's off with a view to cut their cost of meds supplied to the NHS . Nice were not happy with their findings on the meds supplied....

I ticked Central nervous system and Blood and immune system
was that the correct ones to tick or would you suggest another ?

This was picked up on a Google Alert for CCSVI. I've since set the NHS mail-out to monitor this specific topic.
