You can call it whatever you want. Call it sufficiency suffonsification if you want. If everybody knows what you're talking about, great. I'll be calling it Liberation, and until Dr. Zamboni calls it something different, I'd suggest you use Liberation when speaking to him, if you want him to understand what you mean.

I also, when talking 'generically', refer to it as the procedure. Mostly people know what I am referring to.

Thanks, cheer, for arming us with some facts - always helpful! Perhaps the ISNVD will come up with a generally recognized, scientifically accurate name for this procedure - I hope so. I too don't like the "Liberation treatment" moniker for the reasons expressed above. For now, I just usually call it CCSVI treatment, and explain it to lay people as similar to angioplasty, which most have heard of.

If it came down to a patient vote (which I doubt it will!), I'd probably go with Interrupted's Cerebro-Spinal Venoplasty, or CSV for short.
