I called dr. Dake office and he has phone message for CCSVI- they are very sorry and they closed for clinical trials etc. Does it mean he doesn't do any more operations or his waiting list is full? any ideas?

Dr. Dake is beginning his double-blinded placebo controlled clinical trial at Stanford, and I believe they have all the patients they need at this time, ykonstan. He stopped treating central venous stenosis in pwMS last year and has been putting together this new study since that time.

thanks, cheer. I hope his trial give us new hope. I live very far from ca (NJ) but i was ready to go there to get the treatment just cause he does stents.
May be later.

I would suggest staying local...Dr. Siskin at Community Care in Albany has worked with Dr. Dake, and they are in communication. There is also an excellent IR at Columbia hopsital in NYC who will be treating under the Hubbard IRB very soon (info at the Hubbard Foundation site) And please don't go someplace because of stents/no stents. Go someplace because you communicate with the doctor, they can follow you after you are treated, and you have a treatment plan tailored to you. It's not about stenting....it's about personalized treatment and effective communication before, during and after.
best,
