I am so happy. I have finally had the opportunity to have an IR put doppler to neck and see what's in there. In short: I have CCSVI too. :D :D :D

On my right jugular, I have too fast of flow and cute little leaflets that do not close all the way. He spent a long time searching on the right.

On the left, he went straight to what looked to me like a monstrosity of a valve leaflet. It sticks straight out and blocks much of the flow. He also pointed out a collateral going around it. My husband's take on it was that it was not a side road, it was another highway.

I have been active here since January of this year, I have been convinced of the theory all this time, but to actually see it in my own neck is a moment I will not forget. I am walking on air this week.

It's good to know that there's something there Cece ...

I remember the questions of if there would be or not ... who ever would have guessed they'd be happy to be diagnosed with something ...

Good luck finding a doctor to fix it! (you'll have a lot of choices, very soon).

Congratulations on finally "knowing". I understand, I felt the same way when it was confirmed. My right one is the big trouble maker too.

Can you tell us how that compares to your earlier diagnosis?

I think you are asking about my MS? It's mild RR, heavy on the fatigue, with optic neuritis, foot drop that recovered, edss either 0.5 or 0 depending on the appointment. One periventricular lesion, one cervical lesion, never changed through all my MRIs. I had symptoms starting in childhood, maybe that is why my collateral grew so big and strong?

They trick you, don't trust them, all they want is your money, your veins are fine like a 99,99% of world population, treatment you pay for will not heal your MS symptoms, live the life you deserve.

Totally agreed.

We're not here to put posters on this forum down, just the unfounded claims of miracle working they're trying to spread.

Sorry Cece, I won't post in your thread again.

Why is this post good and mine is bad? Take it or leave it. Take what you wont. Market is open.

P.S. I can't understand how someone can be so happy that someone veins are malformed, stenosed, and not good at all? That is sad news for me, not happy?!

thanks concerned, scorpion & Pcakes

CCSVIhusband, yes, I had a friend offer condolences yesterday when I told her, I had to explain why I was very very happy about it.

It's real, I have it, it's fixable. :) :) :)

Well, as I told my darling man before he had the procedure, I've never prayed that someone I love would be told they have something wrong with them. The day after the procedure he told me that, at the moment, he was on Cloud 9.

So, to my way of thinking, congratulations are definitely in order, Cece. Now you'll have my prayers for treatment and wonderful results.
