One of the things I do after a long day is put on my frozen hat. That is right my frozen hat... I have a number of touques that I have seaked in water, squeezed out and then thrown in the freezer. At the end of the day, I often pull one out, let it thaw, and then wear it as I catch up with my personnel emails etc or watch a bit of Boston Legal.

It is a great releive for me and I think it is because it has an effect on some of the small veins that drain from the skull but who knows.

I also wrap a partly thawed linnen around my kneck loosely and this helps our as well.

Try it.

Hi Gordon !!!

Good topic. I do several things to cool my head and they really help my fatigue and head pain :

1. Place solid ice packs on my head and neck. Sometimes I line up the ice packs on the floor and lay down so my spine and neck rest on them.

2. Eat popsickles and chipped ice.

3. Stick my head directly in the outflow from my air conditioner.

4. I have been known to fill a large dishpan with ice and water and stick my head right in. It feels great and I can think again.
