To all new members and lurkers I apologize for posts such as these. I hope stuff like this does not dissuade you from continuing to be a part of this community. There seems to be some people that believe the best way to get their point across is to humiliate those who do not think like them. Just so you know most of us, both CCSVI proponents and skeptics, believe that a good honest debate with each other is much more productive than the garbage posted below.

I agree, but please also check this out - a "foreign" doctor who really talks about the difference between CCSVI and MS.

http://ccsviclinic.ca/?p=702

I believe this can be enjoyed by both the Pro CCSVI'ers as well as the skeptics because it is a reasoned approach (not that I'm encouraging medi-tourism or going to India for the treatment.)

Witty.

I personally didn't find the offending post that offensive, although if 'sausage' is the new pejorative for 'non-believer' then I think it's only fair that 'believers' begin calling themselves some kind of hilarious food related name... breakfast food, preferably.

EDIT: added an ellipsis.

Wait, was that 'concerned' (haha) thing a jab at me?

If so, I take it all back.

To all old members and refrainers from lurking I sympathize for posts such as this:

http://www.thisisms.com/ftopict-14647.html

If we add nothing but self-reference aren't we in danger of fundamental disappearance?

Let's get back on topic, shall we? I think the following slightly older discussion

http://www.thisisms.com/ftopict-14541.html

is extremely interesting. It seems to show that, although 'MS' is not prominent in these quotations, scientists have been working on problems due to reflux for a long time, and a lot of information is available. The brain is involved, and the jugular, and this problem has a lot of faces. My father, back in 1977+, suffered from "chronic unexplained myelopathies", and there are witnesses to that, medical and otherwise, around today.

Thank you very much, sbr487.

Sorry you did not find it funny; others did.

"toast posties"?
