Don't mean to keep showing up here like a bad penny at this point but I was sorry to note that this thread on American Access Care CCSVI treatment seems to have stopped with the post above, especially during this period of transition. About the post above, I apologized to zinamaria privately days ago for my apparently thoughtless wording that led to her incorrectly thinking she'd offended me. To the contrary I was grateful that she'd pointed out something I hadn't had time to think about at the last minute: namely that during the time lag between my having submitted insurance information to the American Access Care Insurance Authorization Team and their emailing the patient back with their findings, cc'ing American Access Care personnel as well, patients might very reasonably fear they'd been lost in the shuffle.zinamaria wrote:Oh! I will move on, but felt compelled to at least say here that I in no way intended for anyone to get the idea that anyone was at fault for what seemed to me to be a natural thing, in the transition, for things perhaps to either be misplaced or take time in the transfer, and thought it might be helpful for people to connect with Karen in the case of insurance and scheduling.

There may be other instances of such things. If, for instance, someone was medically cleared by Dr. Sclafani for scheduling but somehow never made it to his list of people he's cleared (which I did give Karen in a spreadsheet) then it might help if that person forwards Dr. Sclafani's email clearing them for scheduling to Karen with his usual medical intake questionnaire. Also, I got Dr. Sclafani's permission to send him a last "group" list of 67 patients needing medical clearance prior to scheduling, just before his very-important trip to Italy. Understandably he may not have gotten to emailing you prior to his trip, but he should soon...if he hasn't already. I would just suggest that if you don't hear soon you might want to forward the "group" email I sent you, telling you I'd sent your information, to either Dr. Sclafani or Karen as a little reminder. Since this list was from awhile ago it's possible that you may have slipped through the cracks for any number of reasons, including my having inadvertently supplied a now-out-of-date email address.
However, since I no longer work for American Access Care, if people that do give you suggestions/instructions that don't agree with mine please follow theirs instead.
Finally (I know I keep saying that; we'll see!) I want to thank you all again, and again, and again (and that's nowhere near enough!) for all the beautiful messages you've sent about me, both publicly and privately. I should also clarify that when I said in my last post that it was time to change the subject it was because I saw posts in which people seemed to be a bit reluctant/hesitant about returning to the only topic of real relevance here which is sharing information about getting scheduled at American Access Care...not because I didn't deeply appreciate your messages about me or because I wanted you to desert this thread! Please continue to share and, who knows, perhaps Karen...who I introduced to TIMS and encouraged to read Dr. Sclafani's thread...will join you.
