Back from the dead
I love how people spend $10-15 k on ccsvi surgery which might not help or help for a few months, there's only 2 or 3 where their surgery lasted for over 2 years
And not want to spend a few hundred an see if their atlas is misaligned and they can benefit.
I see my shoulder higher on one side then after it's even level. You can physically see that where as people are so eager to drop 15k for something they can't see and trusting dr not to lie to them
And people expect after one visit to have their atlas hold so if they don't then upper cervical care must be a schame right.
I have seen my ucc dr about 30 times and I'm getting closer to holding my alignment.

Civickiller I am glad UCC worked for you and for others! But you are being a bit harsh on CCSVI treatment in your comparison. It only became widely available last summer, so most patients are less than one year out from their first treatment.
Trusting doctors not to lie to them??? (I had an MRV done, which showed severe stenosis visible to myself, others, my GP, my neurologist, as well as my IRs. Don't think I was lied to.)

I think I was given a fairly severely damaged kidney by the fist of one of those guys. Too bad for me if there's anything to it.

Hi!
After 1st or 2nd chiropratic Atlas adjustment I noticed that my veins to my hands hadre appeared I hadnt realised that they had gone,but I have inherited my Dads type of hands, very veiny also my gums that had bled for years just stopped.
Now I am proud to have my Dads hands.
Another thing was my eyesight improved to the degree it was like someone had sneaked in and fixed my telly. I did not realise that my eyesight had got that poor, so I was pleasantly surprised.
I booked an eyetest and they had improved. didnt mention any of this to optician just for my records only.

I have bypassed this article time and time again. and this is part of what I am getting at. The cervical spine or the neck, that includes the Atlas, is so vulnerable to to stress, I think both physical and psychological. the back Dr would know.
I cant believe that I have missed this, what a complete Numpty I am.

UCC helps alot of things, fibromyalgia, tmj, lower back pain, migranes, chronic ear infections, Parkinsons, alzheimers, and of course MS but thats not all it can help, but just what i can remembe

Hi!
I know it is a minefield out there finding a good Chiropractor. I come from uk and have been so lucky finding John. Who is treating me as me, not a condition.
Being on a low income, I hadnt got money to waste. So was prepared to ring around, stating that I wanted my Atlas checking. I knew what I wanted, I'm only interested in bottom line no superficial messing about.
Fortunately John goes by what he sees and not by xrays which was good for me as had a neck xray a while before and told nothing wrong, yeah right! well that wasnt the case.

maybe its just me but i wouldnt let a dr adjust me blind. i would get an upper cervical xray

Hi!
I only realised yesterday why people are cautious where Churopractors are concerned..
After having a conversation with my taxi driver, penny dropped.
Chiroprators have a reputation of twisting clicking bending and causing pain. Something that when you experience every day, you arent going tio subject yourself to more.
Anyway my Chiropractor is very gentle, subjecting me to non painful adjustments. The group of chiropractors he is qualified in, specialise in gentle treatment, non forceful.

thats why its hard because if you just say upper cervical dr, then the patient thinks they only work on the upper neck instead of the whole spine
and you say chiropractor, the patient thinks twisting, cracking, bending.
Full spine chiropractor specializing in Upper Cervical Care, only problem is if the person reads the whole thing. people get lazy
I had a discussion with a full spine chiropractor specializing in Upper Cervical Care about this very thing the other day on fb
