In my perfect world, hackers who sabotage websites or release malicious code into the internet would get hanged.

I wonder whose GHoST is haunting us?
Maybe we have all been a little naughty and Santa's giving us a heads up?
Used to be there was a security package that worked in a diabolical way: it attacked your system in every way it could, and reported the results. It was originally called satan (some acronym) but political and hacker correctness struck, and all of its files were renamed "santa" (which is an anagram). Somebody else later called a similar package "saint" and all hope was lost.

You'd better watch out!

Unfortunately this site still uses an older version of phpBB. Until it is upgraded there could be more hacker attacks.

I know of three times that attacks of this nature have happened recently. The first time I noticed it, Dr. Sclafani's thread was, thankfully, recovered, but no other threads were restored. There was no mention of the problem anywhere, and I didn't send in a PM. The second time I noticed the attack, again no one mentioned it anywhere, and again, I did not send in a PM. And now this time.

If I notice an attack happen again, I'll definitely start a new thread, and I'll send in a PM to NHE. Thank you, Blaze, for starting this thread, and thank you, scorpion, for sending in a PM to NHE. People shouldn't be left wondering what happened to their posts and PMs.

NHE, will the software be upgraded to stop these attacks?
