Iron deposits in brain

Apologies as I am sure you have covered this before but I have been searching through past messages all day and give up.
I have had CCSVI treatment (VERY successful), am on blood thinners (only aspirin) and therefore am not doing my usual EGCg, vitamin C and others I have found may interact so want to know what is best to chelate iron deposits on the brain now? I know I read a thread a while ago saying that iron in foods is not a problem, is that right? Sorry if I've posted wrongly - confused. (NOT MS brain fog which has gone! just plain simple not up to speed with this site.)

congrats on those very successful results!

My understanding is that iron that occurs naturally in foods is not a problem, but that when it's additive iron (such as in cereal, flour) then that is somehow free iron that is more potentially damaging. But the iron in the brain is most likely hemosiderin from the breakdown of red blood cells.

Green tea is the big one that I use; if you've stopped supplements, perhaps just drinking natural green tea might be ok?
