i know u expect new victory but i don't feel anything yet. Dr. Mandato said it can take time to notice any improvement if any at all. I had one jugular and one azygous vein narrowed. they were fixed. Ultrosound after procedure showed they're open now.
I spoke to the doc afterwards and he told me to be patient. So, i do my best.
later on i'll let u know how is everything.

Congratulations on having it done!

I know we all expect immediate results, but I did not get them either. Will join you in patiently waiting.

Open veins are good no matter what :)

ykonstan: Dr. Mandato was my doctor as well. He is right, give it time. The standard I was told was "give it 90 days". Give it time to fix the wrong you have had for so long. I believe now that good blood flow is everything. Many things got better for me after a month and have held to date. Wishing you the best. :D

Yes! Give it time, I too got it done in Albany, I have some balance back, and little bit of leg strength...had EDSS 5.5...now I would say maybe a 4.5 and this is just 11 day's later. Dr. Siskin did mine and he said to NOT evaluate it day by day but more like Month by Month (so I jumped for him anyway, first time in about 2 years)...not too far off the ground buit at least I made it off of the ground!! Praise to the one and only Almighty God!! Bless all of us in the fight, may we prevail...

Happy 2011!!!

thanks

today is exactly 2 weeks since i had my procedure in Albany. First days i didnt feel anything at all, then in a week i could sleep better and didn't feel that my body is very hot under blanket - meaning my body temperature was getting to be normal.

In two weeks i lost my good changes and returned back to my previous condition - i think i need to be patient and give it more time.
