BCBS wants to know if my treatment was "illness" or "injury"...I know it's not maternity  What do you call a condition?

illness, by matter of elimination, because it is not a result of injury

I have BCBS too and am supposed to be liberated on the 18th of next month. Is BCBS paying for the treatment?

SCgirl - BCBS paid 100% for my first angio. I am going to another facility for angio #2 and requested the procedure codes so that I could personally check with BCBS. If you call the insurance provider yourself, be sure to make note of the name of person you talk with plus date & time. In the past, I asked if a Walkaide would be covered; the answer was yes but then they denied coverage. I later won my appeal because I had proof of being told that it would be (all phone calls are recorded so they can go back and double check if you keep the info). Good luck to you!
