What are peoples thoughts on decompression therapy for the neck in relation to CCSVI? I had decompression therapy with the DRX9000 system on a herniated disc in my lower back. I had an MRI of my entire spine since the treatment and the herniated disc was healthy again. I am curious if this would help with the alignment of the spine in the neck and what would the effect be on CCSVI. I have heard people talking about the adjustment of the Atlas vertebra and relief of some MS symptoms.
This may sound like an odd question, but I could not sleep and started surfing the internet and thinking. Not a good combination with the lack of sleep.

I've had similar thoughts. About 1 month ago I got a herniated disc in the lower spine while using the snow thrower on the driveway. The symptoms were somewhat similar to my MS symptoms except times 3. There was weakness in the left knee like I get from MS but worse. There was also pain which I never got from MS. I've been in physical therapy since then and that has helped quite a bit. One of the things my therapist does is put me in traction for 15 minutes per session. Decompression therapy sounds alot like traction. Basically they use a machine to pull my legs while holding my upper torso.

The MRI that was done on me only covered the lower spine, so I don't know if there are injuries in the neck. My MS symptoms first started 15 years ago as numbness in the fingers and thumb of the left hand. My thought was that I had a pinched nerve in the neck. So I was rather shocked when the neuro told me it was MS. But I've often wondered whether my guess about the pinched nerve was actually correct.
