VEIN COLLAPSE AFTER ANGIOPLASTY

Some people, unfortunately have the experience of their veins simply collapsing after their procedure.

Restenosis
A condition where a previously treated vein segment becomes re-occluded. Restenosis may occur, for example, due to scarring or tissue growth at the point of treatment (when stents are used), or muscle or vein weakness/abnormality and collapse at the point of treatment after angioplasty
