Not really. Bored to tears. Don't want to hear Stephen Harper say 'Let me make one thing clear..." ever again. Please. The thing I like least about that guy, I discover, is completely nonsensical. He wears too much lipstick.
It was cold on the sidewalk outside, waiting for my ride. Two very nice ladies came up and struck up conversations with me, and one of them warmed my heart by saying maybe Mike has a chance. Could have been Conservatives... I was a Liberal in NDP clothing, after all. I was naive to think CCSVI would be on the debate when the questions all had to be asked by ordinary-looking Canadians. Elizabeth May won.
Vote Liberal anyway. I still like Mike.

Did you notice that Harpo avoided eye contact? I am not a body language expert but I found it very disturbing.

Harper's angle was to look into the camera, I guess....kind of weird....apparently, it worked....he sure was smooth and polished, didn't ruffle a feather (or a hair!)......sort of robotic.....stayed on script, that's for sure.

As you hear a lot around here: BINGO! I kept whispering about that to my wife, to her annoyance. He may have been playing to the cameras but it is something you are taught in film school, that you should not talk directly into the cameras. I have another theory about what was going on on that stage last night. It seemed to me that (giving him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he was badly coached) he could not look his opponents in the eye. I am glad it came across just as well on national television as it did on the studio monitors. All we could see from where we were was the back of Steve Paikin's head. We figured it was because they had to get us so far away that even if we had brought unregistered long guns with us and had not registered for the census, we could not get a good shot off. That place was huge! Well lit, though. You could see the body language a continent away.

The Liberal party has not made any statement regarding their stance on making vascular testing or treatment available to persons with MS. There have been no promices made by any political party regarding the issue.
Kirsty Duncan has done a lot of great work to raise the issue and to represent our best interests, but many of her Liberal associates are not on board.
Please engage your federal and provincial representatives and the candidates from all parties at every opportunity.
Make sure they have information about the issue and ask each one what their position is.
Then decide where your vote should go

The MSSC has offered us up a useful tool..

click on 'send message now'.. fill in your name, address, etc. Un-check box asking if you want updates, unless you do. Click 'continue' and the site takes care of the rest..finds your local candidates and has the letter composed.

Might be useful if I knew everybody's party affiliation. Anybody know where Election Canada keeps their master list?
