This gratuitous comment has a touch of the old perspective on MS that it is a condition where not a lot can be done.

I see things differently - if the doctors (Sclafani et al excepted) are not looking for the answers, then chances are, they won't find any.

Feel free to earn big bucks, whether or not it happens - from all reports, you are definitely worth it!
A bit tongue in cheek tho' - have you thought of visiting Australia for a couple of weeks and doing some patients? You could really clean up, given the current dollar exchange rate A$1=US$1.07! Just an idea.

i understand from many of your posts that you are very dissatisfied with your treatment at other clinics. However i think your statements about "earning machines" is slanderous and unfounded. I have worked with people you are upset with and i am not of the opinion that they are only doing this for money or that they are not trying to get quality.

we should be respectful of trailblazers. unfortunately sometimes their ideas are incorrect but they show courage to act while others sit back, come into the situation llater and then criticize.

i also have treated hypoplasias in the hope of successful treatment, only to fail. given no one coming forward with another idea, my patients and I chose to try.

I think you should lighten up and slow down. We look forward to presentation of data from drkielar

Facts:
A young lady had a treatment in Euromedic. She paid the full requested amount. She got a restenosis only a few months after the operation and MS came back. When she asked for a rectification of the first operation, the answer was that the cost would be just as the first operation. In Medicover there was another young woman, which had the first operation in Katowice: she needed another treatment and she choose Medicover for this second treatment. Not only that the first treatment in Medicover in Warsaw is cheaper than in Euromedic in Katowice, they also accept the MRV done previously (taking out this cost). The mother of this young woman paid the half of her cost in Katowice. She could sleep with her husband in the Medicover apartments for parents and relatives (it looks like a hotel). This young lady got her vision back the night after the operation.
I was both in Euromedic and in Medicover. The quality of the standard is not even comparable. Please look both sites on the internet. And I ask: what is ethic? I asked in Medicover what would happen in case of a restenosis and Doz. Kielar answered that this will of course be reflected in the price for the second treatment. In both hospitals doctors are working. You are an important DOCTOR, Mr. Sclafani. I do not count you on the list of the doctors of Euromedic but rather on those of Medicover. Money is not the most important thing in the world, just like you say.
PS: Thank you Brainteaser and I wish you all the best
