I have read about Dry Body Brushing and that it can help circulation and the immune system ,

so thought it could be helpful for MS & CCSVI patients?

Does anyone use this form of therapy, what were the results?

I definitely feel better after a serious body brushing but I’m doing that “exercise“ with water when I have my daily shower. It’s stimulating my circulation very well and the effect (less fatigue/brain fog etc.) comes in seconds & lasts for some hours. For me it doesn’t matter whether the water is hot or cold important is the brushing. Best Arne

I haven't tried it but I did read about it in the book "Healing Multiple Sclerosis" by Ann Boroch. It seemed kind of corny when I read it but I'm going to give it a try after reading the positive response from muse.

WeWillBeatMS, I’ve never read about that topic or a book by Ann Boroch before. One day I bought just that big brush and it felt good immediately so I was using it every day since that. Normally I had my shower all time in the morning hours but now I’m doing the “brush-thing” later on the day if possible because my fatigue starts more in the afternoon hours. Anyhow, at the end it makes all sense to me and I’m remembering the stories my grandma told me as I was a child. She had serious varicose veins which make her sore legs after a long day at work. She did swear by the water treatments (warm/cold-brushing etc.) developed by friar Kneipp to treat and cure circulation problems. Btw, you can still get the “Kneipp-cure” in some German hospitals. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kneipp-Medizin#cite_note-0

An excerpt from Ann Boroch's Healing Multiple Sclerosis
From pages 112-113:

Stimulating Your Lymphatic System

Last but not least is keeping the lymphatic system moving optimally. The lymph system's main job is to move waste out of your body. It does this by pushing gravity through its vessels all the way to the heart area in the thoracic duct, where it dumps waste into the bloodstream.

The best ways to cleanse your lymphatic system are to exercise regularly, do daily deep-breathing exercises, and get massages once a month.

Also, skin brush your body dry for five minutes each morning before showering. Buy a vegetable fiber brush from your local health food store and brush with short strokes, starting from the bottom of your feet upward to your heart. Your lymph fluid is right under your skin, so you dont need to dig deeply into your skin with the brush. Gently stroke up your back and down your shoulders to the center of your chest. Softly brush down your neck to your heart and around your breasts into the center of your chest. Brush your fingers and up your arms into your chest. You'll feel your circulation increasing, and you may feel a tingling sensation. Skin brushing helps your skin to bring up new cell growth. After your shower/bath when your skin is still moist self massage coconut, almond or jojoba oil into the skin.
Boroch believes that the main cause of MS is Candida Albicans infection. She mentions C. Pneumoniae co-infection at one point in the book and recommends a short course of antibiotics. I say, Buyer Beware, since Dr. Wheldon and Sarah Longlands have shown otherwise.
