Some ISPs filter spam on their own servers before you even download your email. For example, if I use my ISP's webmail option, I can access a spam folder that they filter for me that typically blocks about 150 junk messages a day. I never see these messages when I use my regular email program on my own machine.

Thx nhe. I have my server settings permissive because some of my important mail was getting put into spam. I need to check the trash on June 20th but I have a feeling my registration didn't process. It didn't go thru once and the registration manager said to do it again.

Anyway, if anyone registered let me know your name by pm. I'm cross checking the list for dr. S.

Good Morning,

What I can do is resend them the confirmations again. As I have told Amy to please let any of the patients knows if they call asking for their RSVP’s to please double check their spam/junk mail as it may have a tendency to go there.

Again, please have the patients look into their spam/junk mail for their confirmations and that I am the person sending them the email.

Thanks!

Dr S,
I got the same story, that there are no rooms available for the discounted rate. Were you able to get further information?
thx

I believe the rate expired last week according to the symposium site.

I'm local so I don't need a room but my industry has several trade shows near the symposium the same weekend. There are discounted room rates. If you need details pm me.

we were already quite in the red and corporate could not guarantee to the hotel more rooms.

there are many hotels in the area, that is not the only one
my suggestion is to go on line and search for additional rooms

Dr. S,

When I tracked the registrartion for the Tampa symposoim in March, we went from about 50 registrations to 110 in the last week to 10 days. There was a story in the newspaper three days prior to the event, and 175 people showed up.

If we can get a story placed with a patient profile, the interest will compound. It's important to reach new people.

I know there are tons of hotels in the area. I will be honest though. With MS symptoms, the heat, the difficulty walking, the lack of energy... it is always necessary that I optimize everything, take as few steps as needed, have a place to lay down and rest if needed. It is hard for anyone to understand that doesn't have MS difficulties. It is a big difference to me whether I can stay in the same hotel as the conference.

Sorry to belabor this point, I am just trying to explain where I am at.

I went ahead and reserved a room at the high rate.

Do we have to present our RSVPs to get into the Patients' Day?

Do we need to register our spouse's separately?

I believe spouses need to be registered because it will help get an accurate count given the room size.
