Interesting can of worms I seem to have opened up here. OK. I am going out on a limb here and say that the compressibility test will not apply to a stented vein, because the stent will make it less compressible. In fact, I would imagine you could even feel the stent sometimes. However, I don't know if you noticed, I failed that test on one side. I am not sure it means 100% that I have a clot, but may it not also mean I have scarring or some form of abnormal tissue left over from the malformation and ballooning, and still might be able to have adequate flow? I do not want to second-guess anything, but I think my doctor would probably have been told if I had a clot.

Or maybe not.
