It's my date with Dr. Sclafani in six hours. I hope he is sleeping better than I am...

I'm not having trouble sleeping because of trepidation, but because of weird dreams. I just had a dream that someone knocked on my hotel room door, and when I answered, there was someone standing outside with a pillow, and they would not move, or speak. I tried to push them away, but they would not move. I yelled "WHAT?", and then woke up and realized that I had been looking at my wife - lying in bed beside me, and my dream had rotated her by 90 degrees, and put her outside the door. Thankfully, I did not wake her or our 4 year old up.

Damn! I just drank a half-litre of water, and realized I'm not supposed to have anything after midnight.

We had a great meal at La Villa on 5th Ave. last night (tonight?). I recommend it, but be warned - the portions are huge.

I know I'm just rambling, but I'll report on my procedure tomorrow. I just found out that the world ended yesterday... Oh well, I'm looking forward to my new world.!

See you in the morning, Doc.

Over and (hopefully without more weird dreams) out.

(Last night I dreamt that I had lost my son in NYC. My crude Gestalt of it tells me that I am going to lose my helplessness and dependence here tomorrow)

One of the early improvements I experienced after venoplasty was vivid dreams. You must be ahead of yourself, to be experiencing them before the procedure.

Congrats and best wishes!!!
Keep us posted!
Stop drinking water!

Sweet dreams for tonight. I hope your procedure is wildly successful. And if you're sticking around NY for the week, let me know so we can meet.

To jig, jive, jingle, jangle, jiggle, joggle, and jyrate, Johnson, a jenerous, just, and jenuine jentleman, just jetted on a journey and joined a jovial jugular jiant to judge his jinxed jugulars. ;)

You are going to be well cared for, I know, and I hope you get everything working just spiffy again. See you on the A side.

Hi Jonhson,
Today Monday, I was the patient just before you. I was set for 10:30 am but the previous and the first patient got out at 12:30 pm.
It's my second time with Dr Sclafani. So we had a very thorough consult then I was put on the table at 1:30 pm. This time there was the Ivus so it took 3 hrs. It went well albeit more painful than last time but it's quickly forgotten. Last time Dr. S did not have the Ivus at his disposal so I had the left Jug balloned, this time with the Ivus I had 3 ballooning.
I have regained what I had at the first procedure. Now I can stand for 10 minutes or more where before it was 45 seconds or less. I am SP since 2005. I'm staying at Hotel LeBleu and you can pm me if you so desire.
You will probably be out as I write this. Good Luck my friend.

Take Care All

Congrats, NormB. It's always a little shocking and awe-inspiring to me to hear of improvements the day of procedure.

What a long day for our drsclafani....
