i am not trying to put this message on the wrong site. and i'll try to explain why i felt it should be here for people to explore and make up your own minds. besides there is so much to read about that why post one article.

i had read about the salt water cures a few yrs. back even purchased the himalayan salt. got side tracked and also ppms was not too responsive to it as some testimonials reported. but regret not giving it a shot at that time.
you know how things kinda go on the back burner and one day "doing"it hops out because of other thoughts you are having.

anyhow, you know i got treated for ccsvi and no results. but i've been drinking lots and lots of water because they tell you to. BUT DUMMY ME not thinking about how important to balance the salt and water. when and if you do the read at the water cure sites you will see the connection."STRENGTHENS AND PROMOTES HEALTHY VEINS" not only for ms but the importance of it to our overall health. remember reg. table salt is almost poison and you will read why.

but just drinking tons of water and not the correct amt. of good salt could be as bad as eatng too much salt. the veins and organs require it and it should balanced as much as possible. in the hosp. you see the clear bags of liquid they put in you to keep you hydrated--it's not plain water--it's saline water "salt water".

you guys do the read if you want and decide. but to me the science is there on the importance of good salt and water. it's been here since the beginning of time. when they started refining salt and striupping the minerals out and about that time caffein "a diuretic"like our cola's come on strong and we are a very sick world. added to all the other bullshit they do our air water and food.

i take a high blood pressure pill with a diuretic so gotta figure how to do this so i don't stroke out. plus the cards are stacked against me in many ways but i'll see. i drink a glass of water and pee 3 and not much of a wait or control. so this is a challenge for me. it certainly can do no harm.

i know i don't hop on here all scientific and stuff as a lot that i admire who do, but common sence really strikes home for me and this makes sence. sure i want it to work for me too but if one person out there improves then it's one less suffering as bad.

it's good for the veins so why drink all that water in vein. pay attention to the iodine and other suggestions.

and for those that think it may be lymes disease there are testimonials to read.

so bottom line it's not been mentioned here that i know of i could be wrong and i just though it should be seriously considered.

The reason the hospital gives you IVs of saline is so that it is isotonic with your blood, i.e., has the same osmotic pressure. If they used pure water in an IV, it would cause your blood cells to burst and you would likely die.

nhe, thanks for the explanation. i was hopeing for some.

the reason mainly i put this up here was that they keep saying to keep well hydrated especially after ccsvi treatment and if the unrefined good salt would help that by doing the water salt protocol - great. and if one would see something else for the good that would be great too.

nothing ventured nothing gained.

I think drinking water is great, salt water not so great...but we are all looking for answers here. And even salt water tastes better than beetroot juice, from what I am fearing....

Thanks for sharing this, blossom.

cece, actually if someone reads the protocol or looks into that site you'll find that the amt of salt and water depends on your body weight. and, say a gallon of water amounts to a tsp. of salt which especially if you are useing the good salt you really have no salty nasty taste. even if one chooses to just put a little on your tongue then drink some water it's the same thing. i know the beet juice is very good for us for vein health etc. but this is to keep hydrated plus other benefits includeing vein health. and cheap.

have you read any of the info. on the site ?

I looked through it....

Wouldn't it be the same, just having enough salt in the diet? Sadly, I have plenty of salt in my diet... Why would salt in salt water be different?

i don't see that adding the salt to food would be different. they seem to be saying that the amt. of salt and water influences the hydration and the quality of the salt.
