I would like to inform you of the multitude of fraudelent claims being put through by doctors, facilities and clinics. These groups of doctors (which I can provide in detail) are billing insurance carriers for a experimental treatment known as CCSVI for Multiple Sclerosis. Millions of dollars are being paid out by insurance carriers because of the codes they are using to justify performing this angioplasty on MS patients to "alleviate" symptoms. I would like to give you the information about the codes and treatment being billed fraudently. Thank you.

Like I'm sure many of you, I have had my doubts about this whole area, since there seems to be so much money involved. There could be some less than moral doctoring being done, for commercial gain. However, I would be more suspicious if zero doctors were billing for it through insurance companies. JMHO. Millions of dollars could indeed be involved. However, the level of conscientious behaviour from the people I have seen on this forum and elsewhere leads me to think they are mostly not in it for the money. I have seen on Sixty Minutes how real shyster medicos behave. They do not write scholarly papers. They do not scam insurance companies, because they would not likely know how, and can more easily get customers to pay them directly. They are not there from one week to the next, let alone for years. They do not work for major schools like Stanford or SUNY. Insurance scams are more usually done one claim at a time, not by the collusion of diverse apparently cooperating professionals in various places simultaneously.

The behaviour I have seen from the doctors involved in the Serono matter, seems more likely to have involved insurance companies.. Perhaps that is what is inspiring this description of what is happening with CCSVI. The insurance companies should act at a much higher level, following the example of the American government, if they really believe it, and at least try to prove it in court. If they are not willing to do that, perhaps what they are offering is just gossip, intended to avoid legitimate liability.
