This study had concluded that people who ate even a 1/2 cup of blueberries or a cup of strawberries a week had delayed declines in memory. As someone who has had memory impairment and has had improvement in memory since the CCSVI procedure, I value my memory, and I enjoy eating blueberries, so no problems getting my half cup a week in.

But then I read this:
But read the results of the new study with caution, says Dr. William Hu, assistant professor of neurology at Emory University School of Medicine. The study authors did not control the diets of the participants - the information about berry intake is based on their own recollections.
So they were investigating memory issues, and they asked people to remember what they ate?
Did the people with memory issues truly not eat a half cup of blueberries a week - or do the people with memory issues have no idea what they ate and are just going to smile and nod until the interview ends?
I have done my share of smiling and nodding. 'What did you do this weekend?' can be a stumper. Oy.

The study was published in the Annals of Neurology.

They kicked me out of that trial. They asked me if I had eaten berries that day, and I couldn't for the life of me remember...

....

What were we talking about?

 Have a berry!

C'mon 1eye, you were in the control group but clearly exercised little self control.
