According to an article published by the "Journal of neural transmition" (neurologists and friends), "The assumption of a primary immunopathogenesis of the disease is seriously flawed"

And they end up with "The primary pathology of multiple sclerosis is a process of neurodegeneration based on the integrity of the blood-brain barrier"

That dovetails nicely with the possibility that ccsvi-induced focal hypertension and shear stress turbulence weaken the blood-brain barrier.

Journal of Neural Transmission
ISSN: 0300-9564 (Print) 1435-1463 (Online)
Description
The investigation of basic mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of neurological and psychiatric disorders has deepened our knowledge of these disorders and their treatment. The Journal of Neural Transmission establishes an interface between basic sciences and clinical neurology and psychiatry and acts as a platform for translational research publications in neurosciences and associated clinical fields, thus bridging the gap between basic knowledge and clinical application. The journal is published monthly in three sections: 'Translational Neuroscience', 'Neurology and preclinical neurological studies' and 'Psychiatry and preclinical psychiatric studies'.
I guess Journal of Neural Transmission is for neurologists interested in psychiatry and psychiatrists interested in neurology.
