Rested? Well, I fainted only 2 days ago. My brother found on the floor. I lost my consciousness only for couple of seconds I thing. The floor was too cold, so I woke up. I am only able to walk to the ambulance of my GP which is about 50 metres.
Anyway, the health insurance company needs at least 14 days for the administration and for the decision. Day 14 is on Tuesday. My GP can not fill the papers because they also want recommendation from head of the clinic. There is no clinic in my little town. We do not even have hot water in hospital.

I only believe in a miracle!
Erika
P.S. The only one who is still trying hard is my GP.

And these people who toured to Poland and got tested, they will be your friends and support they too will be looking to get the form filled out! someone will prevail and then all can follow that path to that doctor who can do it, right maybe Erika?
if nothing else you can all storm the medical system and demand as a group support and help.... 8)

Hi Marie,
something like that. They have big advantage. They are from Bratislava.
Do not forget we had the velvet revolution only 20 years ago. Nobody so far was able to change the way how people think and react. I can not change the country within 2 weeks.
It will be better in 30 years. I am pretty sure. This was not a joke. It is the reality.
I can do pretty much as you know I just do not know how to work with lazy ignorants.

Dear Erika, I feel so bad for you, having to deal with the mentality of people who do not want to work.

You are right that it will take 50 years, maybe more. It will be 3 generations before the society changes but you can't wait. If it means paying the bribe to get someone to do something for you, then do it. Surely someone you know can tell you how much money to offer.

We had a nanny from Ukraine 12 years ago. She didn't do certain parts of her job and she had no problem telling us she wouldn't because someone else would just do it for her and she would still get paid. She was only 26, and I don't know if she had the capacity to change her mentality. Maybe her grandchildren will be different.

It is a very hard thing for people from capitalist societies to understand. You are very determined to make this happen, but you also need to preserve your health. Please us know if there is something we can do to help you.

So you know what I talk about. The girl from Ukraine...
My case is actually very simple but they believe it is better do do nothing, morover it is their job but it is not a private company.
If I had money to bribe them I would certainly have money to pay for the OP. But what about the other 8 000 patients in my country? Moreover my personality does not alow me to do that.
If you want to help me, simply think of me from time to time.
I will be "fishing" all your thoughts and the miracle will happen.

I am sorry for my GP, she is still trying hard. With no success.
They ignore her as well.

Rici - the first patient of Dr. Simka is in hospital in Katowice (Poland) since yesterday.
A nurse gave him PC so he could send a short message. His procedure starts in 4 hours.
I have good feelings about it. He sounds very happy, of course.

Ericka, Thinking of you and Rici today. Hope all went well for him. And I haven't stopped thinking of you, either. I hope you've recovered some of your strength and you're feeling better than you had been.

Hi, Yes, I feel better. I even have another short trip next week. It is only 33 km - town Nitra. I am able to drive there by my car. My GP managed an appointment with an angiologist. I do not want anything from him. I just will inform him. It was my GP`s idea, so I go there.
I have MRI of my brain and spine in the same town on 22nd of Oct.
I just do not like to see doctors anymore.
But it will be important for other patients in Slovakia, so I do it.

Hello Everybody !
I'm new here, so I'll introduce myself (excuse my bad english, please); diagnosed 2002 with RRMS,"mild" MS as docs say.On Avonex since June. Now I live in Poland and I just found out about CCSVI-I'm really excited ! I feel like there is Light in the dark tunnel for Us at last ! I also contacted Dr Simka-my appointment is on Oct 20.Hope he'll enroll me to his study,so I will not have to pay for everything...just hope.
Erica,I'm so sorry for You! But I know You will find new power inside You to fight ! Stupid system, stupid docs, attitude from old "red" times....I know it all so well...I was fighting for Avonex for over 2 years myself...because I don't know no "important persons" at the clinic and have no money for the bribes...so the same sh...t in polish medical system as in Your country.
But we have to have strenght and don't let go-this is our lives we fight for!
My heart is with You! I'll keep fingers crossed for You...
By the way...anybody know how's Rici?

Hi, you are right, I will manage one day, so you do not have to be sorry. I am very strong because I must live in this country.
Rici is fine, he just needs MRV as well as me, but Haacke quality MRV, not just any kind of MRV.
You did well, you have contacted Dr. Simka.

You really do enough for me just because you are thinking of me from time to time.
We say in our country: "What does not kill you, makes you stronger."
So, I am getting stronger.
May be one day, I hope this year, you will read nice message from me.

Hi Erika,

I have a quote that I had on my signature for a while and took it off to add my CCSVI info. Every time I read it I think of you and everything you have been going through and I want to share it with you.

" THE TEMPTATION TO QUIT WILL BE GREATEST JUST BEFORE YOU ARE ABOUT TO SUCCEED"

Please stay strong!
