I was able to keep some cereal down and took some pain meds. My right side feels great. I normally have pain and pressure there, that seems to be gone. My left side is in pain. I can't lift my left arm and I feel the stent.

Rhonda -

You may not feel like it right now, but you are on the road to recovery.
I can't lift my left arm and I feel the stent.
Inflammation is going to affect the muscles and nerves which lead to the shoulder i.e your arm. Get some rest today. We have plenty of information on this forum to help you with your weak arm - thanks to all of us who have gone before you  -- but, all that comes later. Concentrate on resting right now.

Woopie! It is over for you.

Better today. I can lift my arm! Headaches are crazy bad, but I'm taking the pain medicine and keeping them at bay. My dreams have been amazing! I did dream before, but not like this!! I'm heading to my best friends house for 2 days, then home. I can't wait to be home. I am nervous about the 6 hour flight, ouch.

Rhonda -

Get yourself a neck pillow for the flight home -- it will help to hold your head up on those "now" weak neck muscles.

Oh, honey. Really sorry....sounds exactly like Jeff. He had the nausea and really bad, bad headaches. But he felt "awake!" and his sleep was so much deeper, he also started dreaming again (he didn't even realize he'd stopped.) Glad you can lift the arm. Use the warm towel (we microwaved a wet dish rag in a gallon zip lock bag) to keep the shoulder muscles relaxed. It will get better everyday. Have a good visit with your friend, and keep us posted!

Glad you are done and on the road to feeling better soon
I wish you well in your travels. my headaches hit a zero for a short time today then back to horizontal in the pillow.
Maybe you can ask the airlines for an upgrade?? I did that after my spinal fusion in 94 when I had to fly alot right after surg for family emergencies. the upgrade seating saved me. truly. consider it an option?
good thoughts your way

Rhonda, I hope you feel better very soon!! :)

Cheer, is there a reason why Jeff used a wet dishrag in a ziplock heated instead of a heating pad?

Home sweet home!!!!!!!!!!! I felt so much better yesterday and the flight was a breeze. I think I am seeing improvements. My family will be helping to judge my progress. So far...I have lost the constant right-sided pain that I have lived with for 6 years, my legs feel light, no more stiffness, my dreams have been amazing, and I think my fatigue is better. I am still recovering from the surgery, so I'm tired. I lost 6 pounds since I couldn't keep any food down for 4 days. I am very excited.

I'm so happy that you are feeling better right away and that the flight home was easy. Remember to take it easy and don't try to over do it.
