Brain Veins! and L'hermettes

I have seen a couple of comments related to the 'alternative' veins that the body uses and what happens to them when the jug's are opened and working correctly.
Did I miss a thread on this or something?
Also, this is just a thought, but could l'hermettes have anything to do with our problem with lack of 'room' where our veins/nerves/arteries are getting pinched together?

My young friend who just got her stents put in three weeks ago had almost constant L'hermitte's. She says no trace now.

Hi _ I just posted this on another thread, but I see that it may better benefit this thread:
In regards to neck injury, I have also suspected for a long time that an incident may have caused my MS. I was choked to within an inch of my life (well, I was choked hard but not for a real long time) when I was in college by a boyfriend. My symptoms started shortly after this. Another thing that I just thought of yesterday dating back probably 25 yrs. ago was the stupid thing kids used to do to get a "high" feeling. It's sort of like kids today "huffing." My friends and I once tried it: Bend over at the waist and then press on both sides of the neck to cut off blood flow (or O2) and then stand up quickly. When I did it, I actually passed out because when I came to, a coffee table was toppled over and my friend was cleaning up spilled water. I was still standing, however. Either of these things seem like they could easily have caused the stenosis.
To speculate a little further, I had swollen glands as a pre-teen, but blood results showed no sign of mono. I never did find out why I had it, but I do have thyroid issues today (may be unrelated).
Also, I was thinking about how a baby's neck is so floppy up until they are strong enough to hold it up. It could be that posturing a baby and letting their neck flop to one side when they are sleeping, etc. could cause this, seeing that everything is in developmental stages at that point.
I saw someone mention tight neck space. It's interesting, because I am small, and I also have a mouth too small for the size of my teeth. I had to have 4 teeth pulled to make room for straightening. This theory seems to make sense to me, because my chin recedes a bit, too.

Man, I have been wondering about that - we used to do this a LOT when we were in grade school, but we would have a friend push on the sides of the neck after standing up fast and breathing hard, and hold us there til we had gone unconscious ... yikes.

Another tidbit related to Shannon's post. but not to the thread title: I was born with my umbilical cord wrapped around my neck, and almost died. If being choked later in life might have nay connection to CCSVI, how about in the womb?
