Poll re MS symptoms for progressives who have been treated -

Unfortunately we obviously don't have everyones results in the tracking thread. I have added a simple poll just to get an idea of how people are doing. If you have had a procedure (angio or stent) and are SP or PP please fill this out one time!
Thanks

I think it would be crucial to distinguish between MS symptoms and other symptoms when asking the question whether people feel better or worse. Patients may feel worse for a while directly following balloon angioplasty or getting stents. Also patients who take blood-thinners for 2 months might also be affected in their overall well-being.

radeck, I agree---these questions are entirely dependent on how much time has passed since the procedure.

I can appreciate the sentiment and hope that if you add a simple poll you'll get more feedback about post procedure results, but I agree with Radeck it is too simple to reflect the real experience.

This is a new procedure and a new model, it seems to me a disservice to the work IMHO to try to reduce it to a 5 question poll for simple quantification and consumption. I have a regimens entry that is a nuanced sharing of my experience as well as a entry on the treatment sticky. I actually think people haven't written their treatment entry because they do not know and can't tell if they are better or not, not because it is too hard to make the entry.

I am thinking that you would be happy to read everyone's treatment experience entry if they would just do it! :?

I agree as well. That is why I sugested in the RR/SP poll to add à question that links the improvents to time. This obviously should be asked in this poll too.

But perhaps my approach is even too simple and is the matter more complex.

We also have to remember that the Italian Liberation progressives didn't show true signs of disease reversal until 18 months out. I met a couple of them in Bologna, and from the little Italian I speak, I could tell they were thrilled to be up and walking, albeit with canes and walkers. But they came to Bologna to speak of their improvements to the Italian press.

I don't think a poll will work on this, Jay123....but the impetus is good. We NEED MORE FOLKS TO POST ON THE TRACKING THREAD. -was that loud enough? :)

I agree with you all, but this is a very unscientific, overall satisfaction poll. I will clarify that i do mean MS related, I (and I think everyone should) expect some surgical elated 'problems'.
Though it would be nice, I think some people might think the tracking is too much detail for them, but just a guess. Lot of lz people like me!! :D
