I've just realised that Dr Simka has an auto respond set up. I hope he is still reading them

this is an email my friend had couple of days ago
maybe give it a few weeks :)

Hello,

You are in the waiting list for "the liberation operation". The estimated time of the procedure is March 2010.

We will do our best to make the treatment possible earlier, but actually we receive more requests than we can manage in a proper time. I will inform you about exact time of the examinations and potential operation in 1-2 weeks.

Best regards

Marian Simka, MD

ClaireParry, don't loose heart - I think Dr. Simka is so overrun with emails that if he wouldn't use tools like autorespond, he wouldn't do anything but replying emails any more. I'm sure he will read and answer you personally, as he did with everybody else.

Hi ClairePerry, I see that you and I were in the same email batch yesterday for September. It looks like there are about 25 of us. Hopefully, he can speed things up! I am excited for our next contact from him. Take care, Brynn

I got an auto respond too - nothing about being on the list or a time. I've heard he's scheduled almost to the end of 2010. At my rate of progression, I may not be able to travel in 2011. That's kind of the end of the road in my books.

Hi Brynn, Selkie and others on 'the list' lol

I know we need to be patient. I'm working with one of my Midwifery colleagues tomorrow and she is Polish. I know it's cheeky but I thought I might track down a number for him and get her to call for a verbal update??

I don't know, might try.......
