I think it would be great if everyone took the time to email CBS'S 60 minutes. Urge them to do a piece on this potential MS breakthrough. Explain who Paulo Zamboni is, Dr. Dake,, etc and CCSVI. Let our voices be heard!! I urge everyone to email!!
The email address is as follows:

60m@cbsnews.com :D :P

CBS is editing a story on Zamboni and CCSVI right now. It will be on the evening news in the next week. Details to come.

Yes, because there is nothing like a story on 60 Minutes to convince scientists about the merits of a scientific theory.

The chance that the CCSVI feature COULD be boggled by CBS or any other news outlet , concerns me.

Sorry everyone ....it could happen .

I truly hope my concerns are for naught.

I was first diagnosed in 1990. 60 minutes ran a story that year about a woman who was "cured" of her MS simply by having her silver fillings removed.

My mother was ready to haul my 20-year-old self to the dentist the next day! Oh, if it could only be that easy!

If they do the story, I hope it is done without the crazy claims. This is an exciting development, but nobody knows yet what our long term results will be.

I want the first US prime time report to be intelligent and hope-inspiring, not tabloid-esque.

Let us know when it is scheduled to air so I can set my DVR!

Oh man, does that bring back memories!!!

I was dxd in 1991. I very clearly remember that 60 minutes piece!! I thought for sure it was THE cure. My neuro and dentist both thought that having my fillings removed would be a waste of time, so I never did!

And right around that same time, we had the bee sting venom "cure" that went nowhere too!!

But CCSVI is hard and serious medical research that has definitely shown the existence of bad vein structures going to the head! The pieces fit!

CBS had better do a lot of extra homework on this and rush out a story that only tells a small partial of this important discovery! That's what worries me about them handling what will be the first US media announcement. Let's just hope they don't screw this up!

Perhaps they've learned their lesson in the years since! :o :( :) I just think ccsvi offers real hope, it all looks really promising, there is some really strong "science" behind this. The more patients here about it the better. Yes I'm cautious, who wouldn't be.

thorny , have you been following the CCSVI developement ? It has been and is a real uphill battle. I am a bit concerned that all the progress will be sidetracked if the idea and process is not reported correctly.

It seems everyday brings new hope to get this Big Idea in action.

It's all good ......

CBS in holding pattern...waiting for final editing while reporters cover climate in Copenhagen. Should be before end of year.

Yeah I hope the lead in isn't something like, "what some are calling a cure for MS" or something to that effect.

My wife and I call them The They. Those guys. You know, Them.
"Cause for much hope", "Promising new direction". Something like that.
For some it will be their first exposure, so hopefully they set the correct tone-age..... Hey if they nail it on a Friday night that would be good too! Give everyone the weekend to start exploring.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch.
