What is interesting about this TIMS CCSVI board, is that we (the people with MS) are doing the investigative reporting under the careful guidance of our sharp editor, cheerleader. And here we are, jumping at every report from "The Media", looking for any bias or factual error. It is sad that we rely on major media outlets, like CBS or the New York Times, for validation. One time I mentioned to a doctor friend about a medical article I read in the New York Times and she looked at me and said : "Do you know who writes those New York Times articles?". That was a lesson for sure. It is sad that we need this validation from people who really don't understand the issues. I keep going back to Dr Zamboni : "Evidence, evidence, evidence". Good advice from Dr Z of course, LOL.
