Venography

this is from wikipedia - i know it's not Zamboni's protocol but is something very serious to look at if u get a dr that does not follow the prottools for dopplar scans, MRV, or like me with a DBS and its very hard to get an MRV -

Venography (also called phlebography) is a procedure in which an x-ray of the veins, a venogram, is taken after a special dye is injected into the bone marrow or veins. It is the Gold standard for diagnosing acute deep venous thrombosis and chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency [/u]although its use has been largely supplanted by the less invasive duplex ultrasonography.
