I was recently diagnosed with MS-lesions on MRI--one CIS-which affected my left eye over several weeks--I have been offered the opportunity to participate in the teraflunomide study--can someone tell me what exactly do they test you for prior to being accepted and during? I understand that they will be checking for changes in RBC, WBC, liver enzymes etc. but what else are they checking?

There is a teriflunomide thread right here, just above. They perform ultrasounds of the stomach area, pancreas, kidney and liver. Mris are ongoing. Exactly what they are seeking in the blood tests, I am not sure but I have given them plenty. Urine tests as well.

I do periodic math tests, pegs in the hole tests, walking tests over a designated distance, all timed, each time. Blood pressure, weight, and I think that is about it. Sugar levels are checked as well as sodium.

You can bring this over to the teriflunomide thread in the DRUG PIPELINE area.
