feeling Wiped out

Im going to be changing PCP and Neuro in the very near future because the last half dozen times I call they take 3-4 days to call back (used to be within 24hrs) and when they do I basically get a run around type answer with no real conclusion to the problem (basically pass the buck) call this Dr or that Dr.
Just waiting to get things in order and being so wiped out is not helping.

I have an appt in early july with a specialist at an MS center. (which took months for the referal).

Last month I had the shot to see if it would help relieve the fatiue in my legs.
Before the shot generally a good sleep and taking it easy for a day or so would relieve the symptoms.

After the shot my legs feel like jello and wobbally instead of the concrete block feeling and take atleast three days of good rest and a couple days of taking it easy
before the symptoms are relieved.

So I was wondering if anyone has had any experince with a cortizone/steroid shot in the lower back?
Any help or suggestions would be greatfully apreciated.

Rick

I have not had experience with a cortisone shot in the back. I have taken oral steroids (prednisone) and IV steroids (Solu-Medrol) and had no symptom improvement. Since I have learned that steroids raise a person's blood sugar and then insulin as a result, I have no plans to use steroids in the future.

Long-term or high-dose use of steroids (a.k.a. glucocorticosteroids) has been linked to the development of diabetes.
