No symptoms right now...any point in going to Neuro?

The subject line pretty much says it all.....i went to my primary care doc during a really bad episode almost 3 months ago. she referred me to see a neurologist....the appointment is coming up this week but i am currently not having any symptoms save the occasional tremors in my legs. I'd rather not pay the co-pay if the visit is pointless.
I don't know if i have MS, just that the doc was wanting to rule it out. I had an MRI (last week, also after all symptoms had passed) but don't know the results, but the doc's office hasn't called so guessing there was nothing urgent there.
I am just not clear what to expect at the neuro visit, and from looking around online (i know, iknow, bad idea) it doesn't seem as though there will be any point for them to see me when i am not having any symptoms.
Thoughts??
Thank you!

Hi,

With or without active symptoms the neuro exam can show brain damage. If you had a bad attack and have tremors, I would follow up. But everyone has a different perspective.
