Strange Symptoms

So, I had an MRI of my brain after a strange episode and there was an inconclusive something found in my brain that my neurologist suggested could be an MS lesion. I recently had a follow-up MRI and the lesion is gone. However, he told me to mention any numbness or tingling if it arises. I woke up three days ago with the skin of the right portion of my left thumb numb. I figured I had hurt it at work, which is a very repetitive and physically taxing job. However, today the numbness quickly spread up my arm in a line and then onto my other hand in the thumb area as well. However, the other hand is not as numb and is just very weak. My feet, legs and arms have been tingling on and off since this progression. I've been feeling strange lately but I have been attributing it to my inconsistent diet and lack of sleep. Now I'm just not sure and was wondering if it is a good idea to make the trek and time to go to the doctor to get this worked out? Or if the symptoms are likely unrelated. Thanks so much.

I figured I'd add I have been having most other symptoms/warning signs of MS on and off for months prior to this.
