Hello all... Thank you again for the support you've showed me. I've had my MRI and today I went in for those and blood work results. My MRI of Brain and eyes was totally normal. My blood work was fine except for one thing, i showed positive for the lupus marker. DNA double strand. So I'm now to see a rheumatologist which my insurance is giving me a hard time about, but until I get to one and have more tests I won't have MS ruled out or a difinitive diagnosis of lupus. So still hanging in the air but at least a step closer.

glad your brain mri was normal - what blood tests altogether, besides the lupus marker?

I had a ton of tests done, my ANA & the DNA double strand(17)were both positive. The rest of my blood work looked ok.

i'm interested in the nutrient tests they said looked 'okay'.

here's an example of what can go wrong with the interpretation of a 'normal' result:

and here is why it goes wrong:

Status of nutrition education in medical schools
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/article ... rt=classic
"On average, students received 23.9 contact hours of nutrition instruction during medical school (range: 2–70 h)."

I can give you numbers if you tell me what you want me to look at. I got a copy for myself along with my MRI. I noticed a bold (L) next to a few things, one being neutrophils.

sounds good, I am interested in any vitamin or mineral levels they may have tested. typically there would be some gaps in the testing performed, as well as potential misinterpretation of results.
